All that we speak and express can be the catalyst for transformation and growth in ourselves and others, or it can contain poison for the mind. The more we focus our mind on using transformational language, the more our mind will use transformational language as its thoughts emerge.
It can be helpful to write down a few of your favorite affirmations and leave them in places throughout your home to gently remind you to speak kindly to and about yourself each day. As you begin to change your pattens of self-defeating language, you may find that you also begin to feel affirmations coming into your awareness as you need them. When this happens, just take a moment to breathe into that awareness.
